Scholarship Details:
The University of Manchester, formed in 2004 through the merger of the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology and the Victoria University of Manchester, is a renowned public research university located in Manchester, England. Situated on Oxford Road just south of Manchester city center, the university possesses significant cultural assets and operates at the forefront of academic excellence.

Scholarship Requirements:
To qualify for the Engineering the Future scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Reside in a country within South Asia, South East Asia, or Africa.
  • Hold a conditional or unconditional offer for a full-time master’s level (taught) course within The Faculty of Science and Engineering, commencing in September 2023. If you previously received an offer in an earlier admissions round, you will still be considered for the award, and if successful, your offer will be reinstated.
  • Successfully complete an English Language qualification meeting the required standard for the chosen course.
  • Be fully registered for the selected course by the registration deadline.
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree with a minimum classification of a good Upper Second class (2:1) or its international equivalent, or be on track to achieve this.
  • Self-fund your course and be classified as an international candidate for tuition fee purposes, without external sponsorship.

Scholarship Duration and Reward:

  • One full tuition fee waiver up to £33,500 is awarded for the MSc Management of Projects suite of programs.
  • Four partial tuition fee waivers of £10,000 each.
  • Ten partial tuition fee waivers of £6,000 each.

Method of Application:
No additional application is required for this scholarship opportunity. All offer holders are automatically considered based on academic merit. Shortlisted candidates may be contacted for further assessment in the form of a written statement.
