2023 Youth in Agriculture: Work-Learn-Earn Enterprise Program for Nigerian Youth

Enterprise for Youth in Agriculture is pleased to offer the Work-Learn-Earn initiative, providing valuable training to unemployed youth and women in vegetable production (Olericulture) using technology. This program presents a unique opportunity for participants to gain practical skills and knowledge in agricultural practices.

The program will admit 1000 students per quarter, grouped into 20 batches with 50 team members each. Over the course of a year, there will be four admissions, resulting in an annual intake of 4000 students.

Requirements:
To be considered for the program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Age: Between 18 and 29 years at the time of application
  • Genuine interest in Olericulture
  • Availability for a 12-week physical training program
  • Physical and mental fitness to work as part of a team on the farm
  • Willingness to work and reside in the project location (Awowo, Abeokuta, Ogun state)
  • No criminal record
  • Willingness to adhere to the project’s rules and regulations
