Webster Vienna Private University (WVPU) is offering scholarships for international students admitted for the Fall 2024 semester. These scholarships provide financial support for both bachelor’s and master’s level programs across all subjects offered at WVPU.

Benefits

Webster Vienna offers three tiers of scholarships to support outstanding students:

  1. Distinction Scholarship (Highest Award):
  • Master’s Programs: €8,000 per year
  • Bachelor’s Programs: €12,000 per year
  • Requirements:
    • Exceptional academic record (minimum GPA of 3.5)
    • Advanced English proficiency (C1 level)
    • Significant financial need
    • Compelling essay and strong recommendation letters
  1. Merit Scholarship:
  • Master’s Programs: €5,000 per year
  • Bachelor’s Programs: €7,000 per year
  • Requirements:
    • Strong academic record (minimum GPA of 3.0)
    • Upper-intermediate English proficiency (B2 level)
    • Significant financial need
    • Well-written essay and positive recommendation letters
  1. Honors Scholarship:
  • Master’s Programs: €3,000 per year
  • Bachelor’s Programs: €4,000 per year
  • Requirements:
    • Strong academic record (minimum GPA of 3.0)
    • Upper-intermediate English proficiency (B2 level)
    • Financial need
    • Good essay and recommendation letters

To retain the scholarship, students must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 each semester while enrolled full-time.

Eligible Nationalities

  • Open to international students of all nationalities.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Have a strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Demonstrate excellent English language skills, at an advanced or native level.
  • Be admitted to a full degree program at Webster Vienna (excluding certificate and English language preparation programs).
  • Demonstrate financial need.

Application Procedure

To apply for the scholarship, candidates need to submit the following:

  1. Acceptance Letter: Proof of admission to a full degree program at Webster Vienna.
  2. Financial Motivation Letter: An explanation of your financial situation and how the scholarship would benefit your education.
  3. Financial Documents: Official documentation showing net income (translated into English if necessary). Bank statements are not accepted.
  4. Original Essay (1000-1200 words): A well-crafted essay on one of the provided topics, demonstrating writing skills and connection to the topic.
