The Prairie View A&M University USA Presidential Scholarships 2025/2026 offers partial funding for domestic students at Prairie View A&M University. This scholarship program is designed to support both undergraduate and graduate students in response to financial challenges caused by the ongoing economic recession.

- All subjects offered by Prairie View A&M University.
Scholarship Benefits:
- L.C. Anderson Scholarship: Up to $2,000 per year for Texas freshmen with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Edward L. Blackshear Scholarship: Up to $2,000 per year for sophomores (30-59 credit hours) with a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- J.G. Osborne Scholarship: Up to $2,000 per year for juniors (60-89 credit hours) with a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Alvin I. Thomas Scholarship: Up to $1,000 per year for seniors (90+ credit hours) with a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- W.R. Banks Graduate Fellowship: Up to $3,000 per year for graduate students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, with priority given to those with 54+ graduate credit hours.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Residency: Must be a Texas resident.
- Enrollment Status: Full-time student (12 credit hours per semester for undergraduates, 6 credit hours for graduates).
- Academic Standing:
- Freshmen: Minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Sophomores: 30-59 credit hours, GPA of 2.5+.
- Juniors: 60-89 credit hours, GPA of 2.5+.
- Seniors: 90+ credit hours, GPA of 2.5+.
- Graduate students: GPA of 3.0+, with priority given to those with over 54 graduate credit hours.
- Financial Need: Demonstrated financial need based on the FAFSA.
- Satisfactory Academic Progress: Must maintain satisfactory academic progress per university standards.
Application Procedure:
- Deadline: Applications are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are exhausted.
- FAFSA Submission: Applicants must have a completed FAFSA on file to determine financial need.
- Application Form: Students must complete the general scholarship application.
