Program Duration

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must:
- Nationality: Be a non-Chinese citizen.
- Education:
- For Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD programs: Must meet the academic entry requirements for each degree.
- General Scholars: Must be under 45 years old.
- Senior Scholars: Must be under 50 years old.
- Affiliation: Be enrolled as a full-time student or academic staff member at a CSC partner university or institution.
- Pre-Admission Letter: Obtain an admission or invitation letter from BLCU.
- Character and Health: Demonstrate good academic performance, moral character, and meet physical health standards.

- Complete CSC Online Application:
- Create an account on the Chinese Government Scholarship System at studyinchina.csc.edu.cn.
- Select Beijing Language and Culture University as the host institution.
- Upload Required Documents:
- BLCU Scholarship Application Form (completed).
- Passport Copy.
- Certificate of Study or Employment.
- Academic Transcripts.
- Language Proficiency Certificates: HSK (for Chinese programs), TOEFL/IELTS (for English programs).
- Study/Research Plan: At least 500 words.
- Physical Examination Form: Must include recent medical results.
- Non-Criminal Certificate: Officially notarized.
