The School of Veterinary Medicine at Hokkaido University follows rigorous degree conferral standards in the Cooperative Veterinary Education Program, VetNorth Japan. This program, in collaboration with Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, grants a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree to students who have demonstrated the required abilities and acquired the necessary credits.
