University of Tokyo Fellowships 2023: Financial Support for Foreign Applicants (JPY 200,000/month)

The Graduate School of Frontier Sciences (GSFS) at the University of Tokyo is currently accepting applications from international students for the 2023 Todai Fellowship Program in Japan. This prestigious fellowship offers financial support to exceptional students pursuing doctoral courses at the University of Tokyo’s GSFS. Applicants must apply for the fellowship concurrently with their application for admission to the GSFS.

Eligibility Criteria | University of Tokyo Fellowship 2023:
This fellowship program is open to individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Applicants must be applying for admission to a doctoral course at the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences.
  • Applicants must hold a valid visa to stay in Japan as a “College Student.”
  • Applicants must not be applying for or planning to apply for fellowships or scholarships provided by private organizations.

Benefits:
Fellowship recipients will receive JPY 200,000 per month for a period of three years. (Fellowship recipients must not apply for tuition exemption.)
