Degree Level:
The Fully Funded Nanyang President’s Graduate Scholarship for the academic year 2024-25 is available for Ph.D. level programs at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

All subjects are eligible for study under this scholarship program.
Scholarship Benefits:
The scholarship, which does not entail a service commitment, is initially granted for one year and may be extended based on satisfactory progress. For Ph.D. candidates, the maximum duration is 4 years, subject to school decisions and research funding availability.
- Monthly Stipend (from August 2023):
- Singapore Citizen: S$4,000
- Singapore Permanent Resident: S$3,800
- International Student: S$3,500
- Conference Allowance: Up to S$4,000 per financial year
- Book Allowance: Annual grant of S$500
- IT Allowance: One-time allowance of S$1,500
- Thesis Allowance: One-time allowance of S$600 (disbursed during the final year of scholarship renewal)
- For Singapore Citizens, Central Provident Fund (CPF) contributions are provided.
- International Students fulfill teaching or laboratory supervision duties as part of the Graduate Assistantship Programme (GAP).
The scholarship covers the annual tuition fee, and priority is given for subsidized on-campus accommodation.
Eligible Nationalities:
The scholarship is open to domestic and international students of all nationalities. Preference will be given to Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates of any nationality are encouraged to apply, with preference given to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents. Applicants should hold an Honours (Highest Distinction) or an equivalent qualification at the Bachelor’s level. For those yet to complete their undergraduate degree, documentation indicating progress towards an Honours (Highest Distinction) degree or equivalent is required.
Application Procedure:
The application for the academic year 2024-2025 (August 2024 and January 2025) is open from October 1 to December 31, 2023. Applicants to the National Institute of Education (NIE) can apply directly via NIE’s website.
